Inspection & Project Evaluation

Understanding the Problem Before We Start
Every shower and waterproofing project is different. Before recommending a repair, Infinity Shower Pans evaluates the existing conditions to better understand what may be causing the problem and determine the appropriate scope of work.
For leaking showers, we look for visible signs of water intrusion such as damaged drywall or baseboards, loose or cracked tile, moisture around the shower, staining, deterioration, and other conditions that may help identify the affected area.
Determining the Right Repair
Not every leaking shower automatically needs a complete rebuild. Depending on what we find, the appropriate solution may be a lower-section shower repair, shower pan replacement, or a more extensive shower rebuild.
Our goal is to correct the underlying waterproofing problem while preserving as much of the existing shower as practical when conditions allow.
New Showers & Remodels
For new shower construction or remodeling projects, we evaluate the shower pan and surrounding preparation before waterproofing begins. Proper preparation, drainage, pre-slope, drain location, curb and perimeter details all play an important role in the waterproofing system that follows.
Identifying preparation issues before the shower is waterproofed and tiled gives us the opportunity to address them while the critical areas are still accessible.
A Clear Plan Before Moving Forward
Once we've evaluated the project, we can explain the recommended approach and what portions of the shower may need to be removed, waterproofed or rebuilt.
From there, the project can move into the next stage: demolition and preparation when required, or directly into shower pan preparation and waterproofing for new construction.
